Welcome to Multitudes 👋
Data should be in service of people. In the case of Multitudes, we’re using data to help you deliver quality products with a high-performing team. How do we do that?
Frankly, you don’t need us to learn good engineering principles; you’re here because you want useful data. That’s why we have data experts on our team (from a Stanford data science grad to an actual PhD in quantum computing). It’s why we do original research with independent experts to validate our approach.
We know that with the right environment and the right guardrails, data can go from being intimidating or harmful to being fun and supportive. We also believe that we, at tech companies, have a responsibility to think about how our products will be used.
That’s why we recommend that you start with trust before jumping into metrics, and it’s why we have a set of data ethics principles, to govern what we will and won’t measure. That’s also why we have action nudges in the product and in Slack – because getting the insight is only step one; what you do next is what really matters.
We care deeply about people AND we’re here to do good work. We want to help you build amazing teams that deliver much-loved products. To do that, we know we need to build an exceptionally high-performing team ourselves.
That’s why we have holistic metrics covering performance and wellbeing and collaboration. That’s also why we use Multitudes ourselves and have open conversations with our team when we’re not meeting our goals.
We know first-hand how hard it is to both go after big goals and take care of your people along the way. Multitudes is here to support you on that journey, because we’re figuring this out alongside you.

Our values are the core of how we operate – they're our guide for the tough decisions we make.
We are laser-focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion. We are committed to bringing lasting impact through systems change.
We strive to be supportive, open, and human about how we interact with each other and our customers.
We want to grow our people, company and customers in a way that is sustainable, in all senses of the word.
We care about delivering on our goals – and we want to do it in a way that’s fun and delightful, for us, our customers, and other stakeholders.
We recognize the particular risks of working with data about people. For that reason, we’ve put together a set of data ethics principles to govern our work. These principles act as guardrails for what we will and won’t do with data.
Autonomy
We give people control over how their data is used.
