About the opportunity: Growth Marketing Lead

As our Growth Marketing Lead, you’ll be an early and high-impact Go-To-Market team member with your work having a tangible impact on Multitudes' growth. We have customers who love us, promising pipeline metrics (for example, a 40% conversion rate from trial to paying), and we’ve gained early wins and learnings through content, inbound marketing, word of mouth and building meaningful communities (our Tech Leader Chats now has over 800 product & engineering leaders all around the world). 

Now, it’s time to double down and scale the impact of Multitudes. You will play a pivotal role in influencing and executing a Marketing strategy that delivers meaningful revenue growth. We’re looking for an exceptional generalist - someone who thrives both setting the direction and then delivering on it. You’ll work closely with our founder, Lauren, to scale a sales pipeline that converts.

Ultimately, you are a critical unlock for business growth, driving awareness and demand so that we can connect with values-aligned customers. 

In a given week, you might:

  • Do a weekly OKR review with Lauren (our founder) and Vivek (Lead Data Scientist) to share key metrics, what we’re learning, and how we’re tracking with our marketing and sales goals
  • Design, execute and track growth experiments to increase MQLs in our sales funnel, analyzing what we’ve learned, and iterating based on results 
  • Own the digital marketing strategy and delivery, including online campaigns, website touchpoints, and virtual events.
  • Lead our community engagement strategy, including organizing multi-city meetups, managing sponsored industry events, and coordinating our monthly Tech Leader Chats speaker series
  • Meet with customers to test, inform and refine messaging. You will combine qualitative insights, with data collected through online experimentation.
  • Leverage content in an effective and meaningful way across diverse marketing channels to drive short and long-term results.
  • Work closely with Laura, our exceptional Product and Design Lead, to improve and optimize our website.
  • Partner with our Engineering team (Josh, Kevin and Nick) to deliver best-in-class product launches.

Core skills

We are looking for a marketing generalist with broad experience across different areas, including in demand generation, who has ideally worked in high-growth and/or SaaS businesses before. If you’re not intimidated by data and you feel comfortable in technical environments, we’d love to hear from you!

More specifically, you bring the following skillset:

  • An analytical mindset, with some background in math, tech, or coding (no matter how you acquired these skills!) — and you love using metrics to guide problem-solving!
  • Experience using CRM tools (we use Hubspot, but experience with any CRM is fine)
  • Strong writing skills and a talent for creating compelling content
  • Deep customer empathy — you're excited to connect with customers, understand their challenges, and share their success stories

  • $149.5K total compensation ($130K base salary plus $19.5K equity) and $5K per year cash increases guaranteed

This is a role where the sky’s the limit – we’ll support you to learn more about the product and our audience, and then we’ll back you to take the lead in finding the right experiments and right messaging.
